Lights Out for Wildlife

Texas birds are declining largely due to collisions with brightly lit businesses, homes, and other buildings. Texans can solve this problem! By working together toward a dark sky every spring and fall, we can keep birds safely on course and out of harm's way. Go Lights Out for Wildlife during spring and fall migration to protect millions of Texas birds.

  • Turn off non-essential lights from 11PM to 6AM during peak fall (Sep - Nov) and spring (Mar - May) migration
  • Turn off or dim lobby and atrium lights, interior home lighting, and decorative landscape lighting.
  • Install motion sensors on outside lights to minimize use and save energy!

Save the Date: National Night Out

Tuesday, October 3, 6:00pm

Mark your calendar now for our biggest event of the year! National Night Out is an opportunity to get to know our first responders and enjoy a fun evening out with neighbors. Join us in Berney Park for food, live music and more!

Save the Date: Neighborhood Litter Stomp

Saturday, October 14, 8:30am

We are so excited for this year's Neighborhood Litter Stomp on Saturday,
October 14, 2023! Come as a group or participate individually, but make plans to attend.

Neighborhood Litter Stomp is a citywide volunteer litter cleanup hosted by
Keep Fort Worth Beautiful (KFWB) each fall. The focus of the event is to
encourage residents to come together and host a cleanup event in their
neighborhood. It allows hundreds of volunteers to combine efforts in one day
and clean all across our city!

We'll gather in the park for some light breakfast treats before spreading out to collect trash around Ridglea North and Berney Park.

Yard of the Month

The Ridglea North Garden Committee has chosen 6436 Malvey as the Yard of month for September.

Barbara Carden is a long time resident of Ridglea North, she has lived at this address since 1990 and lived next door for 15 years prior to that.

The yard is simple but elegant with a manicured lawn, boxwood hedges, and large ferns on either side of the front door.

Congratulations, Barbara!

RNNA is seeking advertisers for our monthly e-newsletter. The newsletter is distributed electronically to residents in this area, shared on our social media channels and posted on our website. Please contact us for more information.
