The Traffic Committee of the Ridglea North Association, in accordance with the City of Fort Worth’s Traffic Engineer, can recommend various procedures or processes to the membership of the RNA to help maintain the safe and healthy environment of our neighborhood.

If a resident within the published boundaries of the of the RNA wishes to have traffic control signage or traffic calming devices installed on their streets or intersection, they must submit in writing their proposal for the added signage or devices to the Traffic Committee Chairperson (TCC). The TCC and VP of Public Safety of the RNA must approve of the measure before the matter will be brought to the RNA Executive Board for vote during its next regular monthly Board meeting. Once approved, the TCC will follow proper procedure with the city to see that the new measure is carried out properly and safely.

For approval, the applicant must obtain written permission from at least 75% of the residents of the street on which the signage or device is being installed. In addition, a letter must be sent to the homes of all the residents of the adjoining streets that may be affected by the new measure being put into place. All residents will have 30 days to express any opposition or support of the action prior to the TCC carrying it out.
